Rap / Rock music hasn't been this controversial and thought provoking in a very long time! Cherish the roller coaster of emotions! I came up with title "Zodiac Killer" for two reasons. Reason one, because that actually used to be my rap / stage name back in the day. Lol.. Upon having a conversation about music with a few old friends, they made me realize that when I was known as The Zodiac Killer my rap style was so RAW and untainted by the industry standards of commercialism. Reason two, is because I have always been intrigued by the fact that the real life Zodiac Killer was actually never caught by police.
I just feel that the Zodiac Killer must have been thee smartest criminal ever because he evaded capture after actually sending several letters to the cops. In no way do I condone the murders of innocent people, I have just always been infatuated with the idea of outsmarting the law! So using my poetic license, I basically took the concept and flipped it! Not murdering innocent people, but lyrically murdering beats and other rappers / songwriters and producers!! All the songs on this project were written and produced by me and co-produced by my good friend Kenny Rocket, who is an excellent producer in is own rights. Although he is skilled in various instruments, his favorite weapon of choice is the electric guitar! This project is just a little sample of what is to come in the future! If the demand is high as I expect it to be, I may even release a sequel to "Zodiac Killer!" I had so much fun recording this project, I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed recording it!
